Multi Convert Client is a free, browser-based file conversion tool accessible at Multi Convert Client.app. When we say "we", "our", or "Multi Convert Client", we refer to the operators of this website.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our Service, how it is used, and what rights you have. We've written it to be transparent and plain.
2. The Core Principle: Your Files Stay On Your Device
You can verify this yourself: open your browser's Network tab in DevTools, perform a conversion, and observe that no file data is sent to any remote server. You can even disconnect from the internet and most conversions will still work.
3. Personal Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- No account required: You don't sign up, log in, or provide your name, email, or any identifier to use Multi Convert Client.
- No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, or any other analytics platform. We do not know how many people visit the site, which pages they view, or how long they stay.
- No advertising: We do not serve ads and have no advertising network relationships. No advertising pixel or cookie is set.
- No form data: There are no contact forms, feedback forms, or newsletter sign-ups that collect personal information.
- No file contents: We never receive, store, or process the contents of files you convert.
4. What Is Stored Locally in Your Browser
Multi Convert Client stores exactly one item in your browser's localStorage:

This data is stored only in your browser. It is never transmitted to Multi Convert Client or any other server. It persists until you clear your browser's site data. You can delete it at any time via your browser's DevTools or privacy settings.
5. Cloudflare â Our CDN and Security Provider
The Multi Convert Client website is served through Cloudflare, a content delivery network and internet security company. As part of routing your requests to our static assets, Cloudflare may process the following data:

Multi Convert Client operators do not have access to Cloudflare's raw traffic logs. Cloudflare is the data controller for this infrastructure data and processes it under its own Privacy Policy.

6. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection frameworks:
- LocalStorage preference (Multi Convert Client-locale): Legitimate interest â providing you with the interface in the language you chose. This data never leaves your device.
- Cloudflare CDN processing: Legitimate interest â ensuring the secure and reliable delivery of the website and protection against malicious traffic. Cloudflare acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.
Since we do not collect personal data ourselves, we do not need to rely on consent for any processing under our direct control.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding personal data:
- Right of access: the right to know what personal data is held about you. Since we hold none, there is nothing to provide.
- Right of erasure: you may delete your locally stored preference (
Multi Convert Client-locale) at any time through your browser settings. - Right to object: you may disable Cloudflare cookies via your browser cookie settings, though this may affect site security features.
- Right to lodge a complaint: if you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
8. Data Retention
Multi Convert Client retains no user data. The single browser preference stored in localStorage persists on your own device until you choose to delete it. Cloudflare's log retention periods are governed by Cloudflare's own policies (typically up to 30 days for edge logs).
9. Children's Privacy
Multi Convert Client is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately.
10. International Transfers
Since Multi Convert Client does not collect personal data, there are no international data transfers by Multi Convert Client itself. Cloudflare operates a global network, which means that CDN traffic data (IP, headers) may be processed on servers located outside your country. Cloudflare complies with applicable data transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EEA-to-non-EEA transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes â such as introducing analytics or account features â would be communicated prominently on the website before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version came into force.
